2009 is nearly here and I can’t help but pause and reflect on 2008.

This year began as a tough year – but God has a way of fulfilling promises.  This year turned out to be a great year – I have grown so much as a woman, mother, and wife.

I look forward to 2009 and goals that I have set for myself.  One of my number one priorities is expanding my photography – experimenting, learning, and letting my creativity take over.  For me, there is no right or wrong, if my heart tells me to go with it!  This line of thinking for me is extremely different because I have such a “science-minded” academic background.

Earlier this month, I asked my mother what she thought I would be when I was a younger.  She said that I was artistic as a child – something that I was not expecting.  She went on to say that I could have been a journalist because I wrote so well and had such a vivid imagination.

I think that I am slowly coming full circle.  After forcing myself to do something that I thought I “should” do, 2009 is a time for me to do what I am *meant* to do – it’s in my blood!
