This weekend, I couldn’t help but bring some of the autumn goodness inside.  I love my warm sweaters, warm tea, and warm colors of this season!

• Realizing that we make some problems in our lives out to be larger than they really are.  Most times, the answer is staring us right in the face.
• My 2011 Calendar being featured by Holly on Decor8 blog!
• I discovered Kelly’s blog, Enjoying the Small Things.  I was literally in tears after reading her post on the birth of her 2nd daughter, Nella.  Kelly learned upon her birth that Nella had Down Syndrome.  Not only are her images moving, her writing is so candid and honest.  Love.
• And finally, next week I’d love to have a little Q&A session right here on the blog.  Send any questions you might have for me over the weekend and I’ll answer them next week.   I think this would be an excellent opportunity to open up discussion!  Photography questions, life questions, mommy questions…. • I made a pretty substantial decision this week – one that will allow me to live a more creative life.  It has been weighing on me for a while, but deep down I always knew the answer.

Her space is filled with creativity – I can’t help but be inspired!  Of course, I simply captured her space with my camera – she captures her thoughts and feelings with these tools.

I have been away for a while, rejuvenating my creative spirit.  And how wonderful it was!  I needed time close my laptop and disconnect from my online world.  Sometimes, I get so overwhelmed by my Google Reader and social media outlets – does that happen to you?  It felt so good to take a step back.  Not to mention spend some quality time with my girls.

I have so much to share with you since I’ve been away – things that have inspired my creative spirit  and I’m sure that will do the same for you!  I also received my 2011 Calendars from the printer, and I have simply fallen in love with them – I’m sure you will too.  I’ll add them to the shop soon….

And so, “creative spirit” will be my theme for this week ♥
