vintage handwriting letter – free texture

Remember those vintage letters that I found? I’ve scanned them, and I have been experimenting with a couple of images to see how I can add more character and nostalgia to my work. I’ve used the texture in this image and I’m so pleased that I will definitely be using it more of my images.

I’d like to present my second texture to share with you! I’m sure you’ll love to use it in your own work. I only ask that you credit the texture back to me. Please note that this texture is free for your personal use. Please do not sell this texture or use it in any commercial works. You can download it here.

what’s old is new again – free ttv texture

Have I mentioned how much I love my argus? Man, I really love this camera.

I’ve used it for quite a few images. Any time I need inspiration, I grab the argus and head outside. An entirely new world appears! There is minimal post-processing involved – mostly cropping, and I love the vintage inspired look that I am graced with.

If you haven’t tried this technique before, there is a wealth of information out there to get you started.

Finally, if you’d like to give this a shot, I’ve created my very first “through the viewfinder” texture for you try. The image was taken of the sky, and I’m sure it would look beautiful on nature shots.
