a bit of rest

Well, dear readers – the time has come for me to slow down a bit. I will be taking some time off to prepare for the birth of my second baby. I am happy, apprehensive, and ready to meet this little person who has been moving, stretching and kicking me for the past nine months. Wish me luck – this kid already weighs more than Gabrielle did at birth!

Going from a family of 3 to 4 will definitely be a huge adjustment, and I just want to take the time that I need to settle in with my growing family. Rest assured, my camera will be right by my side the entire time, and I hope to return and bring you more joy + inspiration from my work.

I’ll definitely be back with a birth announcement, and to say that I am looking forward to taking the baby’s newborn portraits would be an understatement!

My summer sale ends tomorrow – thanks so much for making it such a success! My favorite part is actually preparing orders – I love to put that extra tender loving care in with each print. Both shops will be closing on July 1 – and I’ll let you know when I will re-open!

oh wow how exciting i wish you and your family all the very best at this exciting yet nervous time. I pray that all goes well and you are home safely together as soon as possible.
