December 11, 2009 - 4:19 am Kim Living Life - oh buttons, I have some old buttons off clothes I had as a child somewhere, I must dig them out, so cute

December 11, 2009 - 6:21 am Frida - Oh that brings back some memories. My grandmother had a whole shoebox with buttons in all colors and shapes. Beautiful composition and colors!

December 11, 2009 - 9:50 am Sue - Brings back memories of a time when buttons were nearly a fashion statement all their own. Nicely captured.

December 11, 2009 - 9:18 pm shelli - Lovely composite!

December 12, 2009 - 8:07 am Se'Lah - I just love going to charity shops and antique shops and finding old treasures. Wonder who wore them and in what year. Fascinating.

December 12, 2009 - 11:00 am Relyn - I, too, love buttons. When we study the pioneers in my second and fourth grade classes, I have them create button strings as a part of experiencing things the pioneer children would have experienced. You would be amazed at how much pleasure those technology and entertainment driven modern children derived from simple buttons on a string. For nearly an hour (more than one year) a full class of children were enthralled. Simple pleasures.

December 14, 2009 - 2:19 am Toni - Love your button collection. I was actually on ebay last week looking at buttons to buy.
