giving thanks

gabriellekaiphotography_breakbreadBefore I break bread (and have Thanksgiving dinner) with my family, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on what I am thankful for:

  • Waking up to sweet kisses and conversations about princesses with Gabrielle, my 3 year old daughter – I love her sweet innocence.
  • Cozy evenings in front of the fireplace.
  • Having a best friend and mother all in one.
  • Faith and a family that prays together.
  • Enhancing my love of photography – I find such comfort and inspiration behind my lens.
  • Being in a happy place in my life.

What are you thankful for?

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, dear friends!

Nothing better the symbolism of breaking bread and being thankful. Your image is truly beautiful. Have a memorable day with your family.

Oh, I have so, so many things to be thankful for. One of them is blogging and making friends like you. I wanted to stop by tonight and wish you a happy, happy Thanksgiving. Tomorrow is bound to be crazy and I didn’t want the holiday to pass without me wishing you the happiest, most delicious Thanksgiving ever.

“Having a best friend and mother all in one.”…I am thankful for the very same. I live far from my immediate family, so was very homesick yesterday, but Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday, so it’s all good… Sounds like you had a sweet day… I hope the sweetness and fun carry over into the weekend too. :o )
