jar collection

gabriellekaiphotography_jarsInstead of traditional vases, I love to put fresh flowers around the house in jars.  Old jars, new jars, it doesn’t matter – there is just something about flowers in jars that I like.  I think it has to do with the fact that I love for my home to feel comfy, and not stuffy or formal.

When friends and family come over, they don’t seem scared to touch, smell, or even take a flower for themselves.  Something makes me think that this would be different if my flowers were in a vase.

And so, I have amassed a collection of sorts – one that I hold dear!

I *love* old jars and bottles — they’re my absolute favorites for flowers. I don’t even own a vase! We are soul sisters, for sure! :)

I agree. Jars are MUCH nicer than a fancy vase any day.

I am loving your links. And, oh your jars. Especially that tall one in the middle.
