I would like to make a new rule.
Know those mornings when you wake up and your home is peaceful, everyone in the house is still sleeping, and it’s gently raining outside? Do you know those mornings that I’m speaking of?
Everyone should be allowed to stay in bed – ALL DAY. Every plan cancelled, no phone calls returned – just rest, simple rest – in the comfort of your bed.

I absolutely agree! And aside from it actually not raining today, it is chilly and i wish i was still snuggled under my sheets!

That would be wonderful…if only I didn’t have dogs… =)
my mother used to call them mental health days. when my kids were little and there would be one or two of them mildly suffering from a cold, or maybe it was too damp and cold outside, we would stay all day in our pj’s watching movies and eating grilled cheese sandwiches. the best.
