let go

letting-go1

Let go.  Why do you cling to pain? There is nothing you can do about the wrongs of yesterday. It is not yours to judge. Why hold on to the very thing which keeps you from hope and love?

~ Leo Buscaglia

When it is our time, we must let go.  Take a leap of faith!

On a side, note – I’ve updated my shop with a few of my favorite prints, be sure to take a look.

The other day I was driving down the street. Inasmuch as I’ve heard this statement before, the license plate jumped out at me. It said “Let Go and Let God”.

Words to live by.

Great photo.

This image and post speaks to me; I have “an issue” that I need to “Let Go!” Thanks for encouraging me to take that leap of faith.

a beautiful shot – a good quote to go with it. it’s perfectly titled. I’ve been chewing on that whole concept of “letting go”, and it makes me feel as though something is being torn from me. there is a difference between “letting go” and “laying down,” though. laying down means that I have a choice, that I can set it down and leave it there, rather than opening my hand so someone else can take it…

lol – I’m just rambling in your comment box… :-P

these words are so true. i always say to my kids, sometimes you have to let go, leap and a net will appear.

Very true!! I have done that many times and started over. Excellent photo to go with the saying.

My favorite Leo quote: “When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot, hang on and swing!” You can’t picture that without smiling… :)

Sometimes it is so hard to let go! The leaf, which should have been long gone, is an excellent metaphor. Well done, A.J.!

So true. I am so much happier and at peace when I just let go. Thanks:)

What a striking visual that touch the core of who I am.. When we hold on to pain, we stay the victim. There is no power in pain or being a victim.. Again, striking photo!!! …soul jerker..
