in love with light

singleWhile clicking away yesterday,  I realized how much I loved the light coming from my kitchen window.  I decided to brighten up this corner of my home – I hope it brightens your day as well.

*************

Feeling a bit under the weather – it’s hard to take care of yourself and a sick two year old at the same time.  It took me over two hours to get her down last night – but it was good to hold her until she fell asleep in my arms.  She’s at the stage where she is on the go most of time and in my arms is the last place she wants to be!

You know, I just posted a few minutes ago and I must say that I needed some light. I’m glad that Presence brought me here! My day is brighter now.. thank you!

I do hope you and your daughter feel better. I think all mothers know what it’s like to be sick while taking care of a sick child. It’s challenging. The bright side, we do get to hold and love on them making us both feel better.

Such a lovely image. I love the soft white curtain, the white on white design of the vase, and, the splash of orange in the flower! Perfectly conceived and executed image.

Psst…hope you and your daughter feel “good as new” soon!

always a treat to hold a babe once they are almost too old to want to be held any longer…

I wish my kitchen window were that clean!

I hope you are feeling better! I have a two year old too, and we have been very lucky this year and didn’t get sick. (I probably shouldn’t say that. I might jinx it.) I think because I didn’t go out as much this year. Poor kid. I’m turning him into a hermit! ;-)
