When I was younger, I would spend summer evenings with my father in his garden as he watered his plants and vegetables. He would spray my bare feet, and I would laugh, giggle, and run away – always to come back for more.
It warms my heart when I see my daughter sharing the same experiences with my father as I did as a child. Their bond is great - it’s almost as if I am replaced!
Here he is in his element – his hobby, his work, his livelihood. And here she is sharing that with him. Just as I did was so many years ago.
There was a time that I didn’t think they would get to share such a special bond, when our time together was almost cut short. How sweet it is, when we don’t take any moment for granted.
Happy 60th Birthday to my father!
