discovery project – four month review

discovery-project-aprilTiny bits of my life during the month of April 2009 – documented for my Discovery Project!

Taking a daily photo has made me notice how much I have grown personally and professionally as a photographer.  I look back on some of my images that I took in January and I am amazed at how much I have learned since then.  I look forward to where I will be at the completion of this project.

I have also started thinking about what I will do with these images.  A select few are available in my shop, but I would like to pull them together into some sort of book, or collection.  I would love to have them organized in such a way that would preserve these memories forever.

Have a look at my reviews of January – March 2009.

My favorite image from this month is an easy choice.  It made me stop for a moment and reflect.  Taken on April 7, 2009:

april-7I would love to see your favorite picture from this month!  Please leave a link!

Looking at your work I would have to agree with you. I like your idea about a book or maybe it should be a daily calendar.

I just adore the way you process your photos! They are so soft and dreamy! I will have to try to narrow mine down to a top ten for the month. I’ll get back to you ;)

Your photos look fantastic all together like this. I really enjoy looking at them. I feel the same way about the project as you do. I am turning mine into scrapbook pages, that I plan to get made into a book.

This is my favorite shot for the month of April. So different for me.

It’s fun to go back over the month and review what you’ve done. I just got done putting my review for April together. You’ve got some really wonderful images, of which you should be proud. My favorite from April of my images is probably this one:
Lilac Love.

That April 7 photo is filled with softness and detail. Very calming.
I absolutely l.o.v.e. your work!
