what’s old is new again – free ttv texture

argusHave I mentioned how much I love my argus? Man, I really love this camera.

I’ve used it for quite a few images.  Any time I need inspiration, I grab the argus and head outside.  An entirely new world appears!  There is minimal post-processing involved – mostly cropping, and I love the vintage inspired look that I am graced with.

If you haven’t tried this technique before, there is a wealth of information out there to get you started.

Finally, if you’d like to give this a shot, I’ve created my very first “through the viewfinder” texture for you try.   The image was taken of the sky, and I’m sure it would look beautiful on nature shots.

Please visit my new downloads page.  I plan to use this space to continue to share with all of you.

If you decide to use the texture, please do leave a link to the finished result!

I was thisclose to buying one the other day…for $15 bucks, it was hard to resist. I didn’t end up buying it because I really don’t know anything about the film it needs. Now I wish I did!
