design feedback?

design-and-brandingTaking a small break from visual blogging to get your feedback, dear readers.

I am working on my own design and branding (be on the look-out for an entirely new look) for my blog and website.  I want it to be clean and inviting, and also reflect me and my work.

Here’s what I have come up with so far, but I’d love your feedback.  Nothing’s set in stone yet -  so I can, and will, make changes.

I’d like your honest opinion.  Go!

I love it! I love the colors and the simplicity of it!

I like that it’s simple and clean and I love the flower.

My other thoughts .. I didn’t notice the 3 words in the top corner until I looked at it much more closely and don’t really love the color choices for those words. The green in particular feels like it clashes with the logo color.

I like it. Very fresh, very inviting, and looks like your style of photography. On the business card, I like the words at the top, but agree about the colors…..what if you used a lighter blue for them. Excited to see what you do with this!

you’ve done a beautiful job on your own logo! i have been working on a card and have yet to be satisfied with anything i come up with. i love the swirls, the simple three words and the fact that in my view it seems to reflect your photographic style.
well done!

Being a quilter, I discriminate with colour. The 3 descriptive words are a lighter shade/tone than the title so they fade in comparison. I noticed them but if they were a bit “darker”, they’d be more noticeable.

Having said all that, I *REALLY* l.o.v.e. your banner on the blog so I hope it doesn’t change…but that’s just me being selfish.

I really like it, but I’m not really loving the font for photography. I agree with the others about the color of the three words. Maybe if you used a complementary color (opposite on the color wheel) or different shades of the same blue in your name? I like the way your watermark your photos, for what that’s worth. =)

Love, love, love it. My only thought is that the pink, though I love it, is a little hard to see. Maybe a salmon color? It would have the same feel, but be easier to see.
