to read a poem in january

january-walk“to read a poem in January is as lovely as to go for a walk in June” (jean-paul sartre)

This is my visual interpretation of this lovely quote for challenge number 1 from the four.

I took this image on a walk I took on my birthday – quiet, serene, peaceful.

this is so compelling to me ~ i have a sense of
time and memory with the arc of the bench
and a youthful hopefulness in the dappled light
~ oh! and a very sensual innocence with the flower

compelling and beautiful

and thank you sooo much for joining in with the
collaboration ~

:)

Oh, wow! The curve of this bench is so…so…I don’t have the words! But it does evokes feelings of nostalgia and a desire to stop and rest…Lovely!

Thanks for visiting and leaving supportive comments on our blog~! (and my blog~!~)
This interpretation of the prompt is wonderful, it does transport one back in time, it has a vintage, seventies feel to it. For me personally it does anyway, because that is about how tall I would have been looking at a park bench in the seventies!
Also the tones indicate a vintage feel, I just love it well done!
Happy belated birthday, I’m a Capricorn too.
