a new day

A new day, a new president!

Just the feeling of being in Washington, D.C. during the inauguration was inspiring.  Yes – there were a lot of people, yes – it was crowded, yes -  it was cold, and yes, traffic and the D.C. Metro was unbelievable.   But you what?  I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We came from all walks of life, all across the country, to share in a monumental experience of our lifetime. We were all there for a common cause – a welcome change.  In the words on my two year old daughter – “Obama! Our new president!”

I have so many inspiring images to share with you – but first, I must recover!
