I took this image on a walk I took on my birthday – quiet, serene, peaceful.  My mornings always begin with breakfast. Even when I am running late, I make time to eat. I just love when the sun is shining in the early morning – definitely magical light!  What’s on your background? This image is currently my background image. It will always be special to me because these are flowers in my father’s garden. I had just received my 50mm lens, and I was testing it out and ended up with this beauty. I would like to honor this week’s love Thursday with an image of our President taking the oath of office with his wife by his side – this was our view from the National Mall on Tuesday (yes, we had to look at the screen – we were very far!). The love that these two...  My daughter won’t remember this moment, but she was there – cheering in the crowd with her flag – “OBAMA!”. She witnessed hope, love, and change. She will be forever impacted by that day. She now has proof that she can be ANYTHING she wants to be. ———————— My 44 words for our 44th president.  A new day, a new president! Just the feeling of being in Washington, D.C. during the inauguration was inspiring. Yes – there were a lot of people, yes – it was crowded, yes - it was cold, and yes, traffic and the D.C. Metro was unbelievable. But you what? I would do it again in...  Is it too early for trees to start blooming? I was shocked to find these in the dead of winter! ******* On a side note, I’ll be away from posting for the next couple of days. I will be traveling to Washington, D.C. for the Inauguration of Barack Obama, our 44th president! I cannot even...  I had to share more images from my birthday – couldn’t resist!
